Label: , , ,

Shortly after the New Year, Slayer plans to start working on new material for their eleventh studio, which is intended for release 2008, and will tour the world to support it. "I am excited to see where the new music goes, as he will-sound, that the total of writing and recording experience will be like. I am sure it will be like a" Christ Illusion '- great! " Slayer recently received its third Grammy nomination. The Slayer track, "The Final Six," the band for 2007 Limited Edition "Christ Illusion" was nominated in the category of "Best Metal Performance." "The Final Six," written by the Slayer vocalist / bassist Tom Araya and guitarist Jeff Hanneman and produced by Josh Abraham, is looking for a cooling hypothesis end of the world. The song made its debut last July as the only of the Week on MySpace where she has since amassed some 750,000 plays, an astonishing number for a music that has not received commercial airplay. "When I got the first word, I thought someone was playing a joke," mused Araya. "But, obviously, we made an impression on the industry. People at the upper levels have taken note of what we have done, and this is incredible." Slayer's two previous Grammy nominations were for 2002's "Disciple" from the album "God Hates Us All," and last year "Eyes of the Insane," for which arose from the Grammy Award.
