Seventh Star Calling It Quits, Announce Final Shows
Floridian metal / hardcore Seventh Star Group heavy metal band announced plans to disband following a few final shows this winter. Here is a statement from the group:
"So, after almost nine years in the band, Seventh Star is destroyed. We have three full length, hundreds of tour dates, seen in the world, made great friends, toured with some of our favorite teams / biggest influences, and we believe that our Time to move on. main reason is the different levels of dedication to membership. we have everything on the same page as a lot of our life should be spent on the strip. Some of them are personal reasons, others are not. we believe we would rather quit at the top than fizzle.
"We have always tried to give 100% in what we do. We have never been about status, popularity, money or any passing trend happening around them. we tried to play the music we want to, and never retreat from our message to address the hardcore community about our Savior, Jesus Christ and God's grace. sacrificed our time, money, communications and colleges, because we all believed in it. Sometimes he tries, but always has been, where we would be. At the moment, we do not can give 100% to the band, and we are called upon in other areas of our lives.
"We played a few final shows, hitting several locations in Florida in January, playing one last show in Ocala, coming to our second home of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA and play in our final show in this year's Facedown Fest. our original members Mike Whitaker and Sean Douglas will be joining us at the end of the strip. We want to thank Jason and all the Facedown Records believing in us. We also want to thank all the bands we toured, and everyone who has ever supported us in any case. You know who you are. Never lose heart.
